VidiEditor Flavors (Enterprise | Vidinet) [VE 21.4 OG]
VidiEditor can be operated in an enterprise context, is highly customizable and with the possibility of being built to be operated inside a closed network infrastructure. VidiEditor in this form is referred to as the enterprise version in the documentation. Please contact Vidispine Arvato Systems Product management when if one is interested on the enterprise context.
VidiEditor can also easily be purchased and spun up in a cloud context via VidiNet. This only requires a VidiNet account a running VaaS instance and a S3 Storage usable to add the VidiEditor service. This context is referred to as the VidiNet version in the documentation.
As both context types vary slightly with regard to the supported possibilities, the following table offers a clear overview of the differences between the two.
