MediaPortal Workspaces [ENT 22.1 ARC]

MediaPortal workspaces are collections of assets which are organised in a tree structure. This helps building a logical structure of assets.

Each workspace has a root collection which may contain multiple child collections. A child collection may only have a single parent.

The metadata field V3_CollectionType is set to Workspace(see Collection Types [ENT 22.1 ARC]).

MediaPortal ensures that the above parent-child restrictions are met. Other products or components should not change existing relations.

If new collections are created outside MediaPortal, care should be taken to meet the above parent-child restrictions.
